You could certainly go up to Tibble Fork or, if you want to off-road for a short bit, you could keep going and head to Silver Lake flats.

I survived the hike last month lol, anyway, when i was there tibble was shoulder to shoulder, without much luck anywhere. I didn't fish but I talked to a few people, I didn't make it up to silver but I heard it was also slow. One tip, if you plan on camping up there go up to salamander springs, it's free.[Wink]

I fished Tribble Fork Reservoir yesterday (Thursday) with a fly rod using Prince Nymphs from my tube. Caught only three rainbows. All about ten inches. Missed a few. The wind blew constantly and tube control was almost impossible. There was several bank tanglers out. The majority of the fish I caught and seen were in the inlet area. The water was a little cool until numbness set in. (fishing without waders) Planning a short trip tomorrow in the am.
