auxillary motor mount
#1
I've got a couple of questions about mounting a Panther Marine auxillary motor mount to my 1990 Skeeter. I'm planning on mounting on the drivers side just outside the transom (there is a somewhat flat spot on the hull there that looks like my best bet). The mount came with the hardware, and I'm manufacturing a backing plate for the inside of the hull (for added strength when mounting to fiberglass). I'm also planning on using an old ESD mat (thin rubber) and cutting some gaskets to keep the metal portions of the mount off of the hull.

Has anyone ever done one of these? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!! If anyone has pics of thiers that would be great too!

Thanks all!
