Hit the water about 5am from echo bay. Started trolling sassy shad and buck tails with 3" white grub, and bang 20 feet from the tires nice little 2 pounder fought like a 10 pounder! Then we anchored on a sand bar just north of echo and statred chuming. Caught a few nice 2-5 pound stripers and a bunch of little ones. When it started to slow down we headed up to stewards point but no luck so we returned to the sand bar that has been so successful in the past. Caught a few more small stripers, cats, and a 2lb smallmouth. Now you guys probably think I am telling a fish story, but I have a picture to prove it. I start reeling in a fish, and it looks like another fish is chasing it, but no two fish on one line! [Smile] !
Wind started to get real bad so we headed for the marina about 2pm. Total we caught about 30-40 striper, 4 catfish, and one smallmouth!
Wonerful day to go fishing!!

Looks like you all had a great day on the water. I have never fished the Overton Arm. Looks like I'll have to add it to my things to do list. [cool] Thanks for sharing!

Great report and pics...especially the one where you caught two stripers on one line. Just goes to show you how fast they swarm over anchovies.

Best regards,

Paul
