Echo report
#1
Awesome!!! Started at 6:30 this morning trolling crankbaits down 20' in 40' of water. We(3 of us) caught 4 this way and then it slowed down. At about 9:45 we hooked up the downriggers and started trolling orange and frog spoons near the dam. Spanked the fish. Fished down 32' at 2.7 with 30' of line behind the ball. All fish caught were extremely healthy and fat! The smallest was about 15" and the largest went about 20". The skiers ruined it about 11:30 but it was too hot to stay any longer.
PS, for you flyfishers, there were TROUT rising all over the lake this morning taking what looked like a mayfly emerger. Some of these fish were near 25" in length and i know they were trout because they would rise right next to the boat.[Wink]

That's about the same report I had last week. Just like you said, there were some BIG fish rising all over the place. I hooked into a 4-5 pound bow but he got off at the boat. I was really surprized at the average size fish up there. Any browns?
