great sunrise as we got to the lake, looked like a california sunset, great colors but you need a respirator [laugh]. started fishing bottom bouncers and spinner rigs, picked up a few walleye and perch then figured out the colors and the better locations. then we started getting eyes consistantly, sewfish got her first limit of eyes and kept a couple of nice perch. the change in fishing technique that made the biggest differance for us was to stop using night crawlers and change to gulp 6 inch crawlers, the small perch cant trear it apart like a night crawler, so we felt then we could keep the lure in front of the walleye more. fished
saleratus wash and rabbit gulch, caught eyes in both spots. left the lake at noon then we sat in constuction in daniels canyon while they were repaving and there at the deer creek dam. orange cones feel like a way of life... summer in utah.

Nice report, glag you got them. What colors and what depth were you fishing. How big were the eyes ?

the fish were 10-19 inches, bead colors pink/orange blades hammered silver, the depth 16- 20 feet, speed 1.2 mph.
