South West Anglers Button Award Association

The South West Anglers Button Award Association is made up of over 20 So. California Rod and Gun Clubs. It provides a cost effective vehicle for clubs to award their members "buttons" for trophy size California fish and game. It also promotes diversity in fishing and hunting in order to earn buttons for the various species of fish and game. Club members display their buttons on hats, vests, etc. It stimulates friendly competition within the clubs in the quest for button size fish and game. In addition there is an interclub competition for the biggest overall fish and game species with and annual trophy awards banquet where the individuals with the largest of each species from all the clubs is awarded a plaque.
