Salmo, Polish manufacturer of premium hardbaits, recently celebrated importing its millionth lure to the United States at the ICAST show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
There, Salmo-Poland owners Peter Piskorski and Rado Zaworski presented Salmo-USA owner Steve Baumann the "Golden Hornet.
"It is with great honor and respect that we present this Golden Hornet Award to highlight a milestone in the growth of Salmo lures in the USA. We know how competitive the U.S. market can be, but Mr. Baumann believed in us and the products we produce," says Piskorski.
"It is an honor to work with such a great company like Salmo, says Baumann as he accepted the award. "It confirms our belief that if you build the best lures in the world, fishermen respond by giving us the best endorsement possible, they tell their friends."
