Float tube question

Hey guys, I need an answer to a question I have about pfd's. My brother and I have been talking about pontoon boats (kick boats) and whether or not you are required to wear a pfd while on a lake. We know that on the Green River you have to wear one, but what about while fishing on the Berry or any other lake? What is the rule there? Is it considered a boat where you just have to have one on board? Or is the law that you have to wear it at all times?

What jason saidx2. There are a few places around that they are extremely forceful on the pfd regs. Make sure you have one within "arms reach".
