Mantua Still Producing 8/10/07

Pretty breezy out of the south this morning.Tried drifting but got blown out of the bite zone too fast.Got the anchor to hold as the wind got stronger and managed a good pick on the standard bluegill and perch.Since the anchor was holding and the fish were biting, I stayed on that spot for a few hours until we went home.The girls had a blast!We got some big wind gusts and it stayed a steady 10-15 mph while we were out there.As we were hauling the boat out, a family was launching their ski/tube boat.I'm glad we left when we did as the water was stirred up and choppy enough from the wind.Didn't need to be out there with a tuber rolling it up even more since I only have a little 13' Gregor.

Glad to hear you got on top of the fishes too bad about the wind though. I wish I could of make it out there this morning I had to go workout instead and when we were done didnt feel much like fishing.[mad] I guess it's agood thing I would of been blown all over the place in my toon.[shocked]
