How is the catfishing in echo? i will be in that area this weekend i dont have a boat so were can i get into some channels from shore what bait / rig do you prefer? thanks

On a drive by last week it looked as though the ramp was completely out of the water and it was 4x4 launching only. That's what I saw from the I-80 overlook.

does anyone have any ideas on spots ?? i have only found a couple scattered fish up there.. maybe 2 or three in an afternooon... oh and as a warning.. dont use chicken livers for the cats up there.. lol cant keep the friggin perch off!!! i usually fish the sandy beaches and points on the ramp side of the lake... any info will help.. i'm headed up there next weekend... for an exploratory mission.. thanks guys..

I can't tell you exact because i have been sworn to secrecy but the upper end with whole 3-5" chubs or perch. It is harder now the water has dropped. Good luck.

Ok here is the scoop, the tourney this year is sept 7, 8 and ends on the 9th at noon.
There will be a guy named art in a trailer on the beach with a sign the day of the tournement for you to enter and they will also have a drawing on sunday at noon for some other prizes you can win.
Now if anyone has some reports as if you can launch there still let us know. I have a 21 ft cabin (not cuddy) boat and would like to know if I can launch or not.
