Newbie fishing for salmon at end of sept

Hello all I am new to salmon fishing but have fished for years up at east grand. This time we are going to try salmon trolling at the end of sept. I am a newbie when it comes to salmon fishing so I could use ALOT of help. We have mostly spinning rods and we bought some streamers to troll. We also have downriggers. If anyone is familiar with this type of fishing I'd greatly appreciate the help and advice, thanks alot, john
