teach a wolf to fish and he will eat forever. Has anyone seen this yet? I just got it in an email and thought i would share, there were more pics of the wolf sticking his head in the river to catch em. They say it is in Brooks Falls, Katmai.

That is so cool. I have never seen a Wolf do that. I have heard of them stealing from a Bear once the morsel has been skinned down.[cool]

I have long known that wolves fish and that fish at certain times of the year is a wolfs primary food sorce.

but there is little documented footage or shots of wolves actualy fishing.

My wolf, (sibarian husky) will hunt for fish even when she has a full belly. if she can catch them she will eat them as well, tho' she gives me a hard time if I dont give her one when I am fishing..

I make her wait till they are cooked now before she can have any, but she will take them any way she can get them, even if they are half rotted... [shocked]

[angelic]Here is my four legged fishin buddy, she is kinda like a step dog, i can take her whenever i want. she loves swimming so we usually stop and let her swim a couple times each trip. She use to belong to roni (in the pic with her) but she gave her away []to my nephew in law cause she thought she was moving into somewhere she couldnt have her but she is still in the family and we see her every weekend and thru the week.[] I dont think she would eat a raw fish if her life depended on it, talk about spoiled, she is the epitame of it. they do love the water, summer and winter...

unlike the husky, hi tempered with a will of their own,

Labs make great leader dogs for the blind, Muts in the pound make better leader dog than huskys do because of their temperment.

huskys on the other hand only take to water on their own terms. to get one to walk in the water you have to just about drag them, but if they are fishing they will go in on thier own with out regards to getting wet. and no mine hates baths...

She got shaved because she refused to take a flea bath every three days...

as I mentioned before, sibarian huskys are nearer to wolf than dog. meaning they are semi domesticated. It you turn out the light and shine a light in to your labs eyes they turn Red. If you shine a light in a wolf's or deer's eyes they sparkle blue like stars in the sky. so dose a husky if they are full blooded.

not only do they hunt fish but they eat bugs and beatles and spiders just like their ansesters do.

mine is a spoild rotten pest. yep, I soild her, she dosnt like me to be away.
