Catfish Noodlers?
#1
This is new to me, I came across this strange sport while searching @ AOL. Looks like an interesting sport. Check out this link:

I have watched these people do this noodling on one of the discovery channels. It was something to watch. They were getting huge cats that looked like they would break their arms lifting them into the boat. No thanks I will stick to the pole method.

[pirate]After hearing a guy about three times my size, with wrists at least four times the size of mine, haul up (be hauled up by) a 75lb. flathead and scream "IT'S BREAKING MY WRIST!" I think I'll pass. It does look like a blast, and I am known for doing stupid things like free climbing Bridal Veil Falls, or jumping into the Spanish Fork River from a bridge in December, but I saved enough brain cells not to do that.

Those good 'ol boys are not the crazy ones - The crazy ones are the ones who are noodling or grappling snappin turtles. The catfish may scratch ya up but the big snappers can break fingers if they latch on to ya. I'd have ta say I would have more fun watching than I would participating [Smile]
