ROSEBURG - Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife biologists will have informational booths at several popular highway junctions during opening weekends of the general western Oregon buck rifle and general Cascade elk seasons.
Both ODFW wildlife biologists and volunteers will be on hand Sept. 29 - 30 and Oct. 20 - 21 to answer questions and discuss issues with hunters. Hunters also may volunteer to have their harvested deer or elk sampled for Chronic Wasting Disease. Free coffee, tea and cocoa will be available from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Lemolo Lake Road at Hwy 138 east
Steamboat Creek Road at Hwy 138 east<br />

Bear Market on the South Umpqua Road/Hwy 227 junction in Tiller<br />
Dave Heffner will be on hand Sept. 29 - 30 at Bear Market to measure antlers at no charge. Heffner measures for Boone & Crockett and Pope & Young.
