Bad luck at Henry's, Great on the outlet 9/27- 9/31

Headed up last weekend to the cabin to give Henry's a try despite of all the bad reports. Fishing on the lake was terrible!! We mostly fished the south side by the cliffs, because the mossy murky water on the north side was very bad. Between the six of us we were only able to catch one in the two days on the boat. The water did kind of clear up slightly on Saturday in the sleet and snow.

After much frustration on the lake we decided to give the outlet a try. Fishing was great using poppers with the san juan worm, along with small spinners. The fish were not very big, but in many numbers.

Overall we had a good time and hope the rest of you have good luck on the Lake.

Thanks for the report. For me fishing at Henry's in the Fall is hit or miss. Sounds like you had one of those "miss" trips.
