Anyone know the conditions at Chesterfield as far as water level at the boat ramp? Can I launch a 20'er? Thanks M.H.

I haven't personally been, but some buddies were up on Tuesday & had no problem launching a 20'. They said the bottom of the ramp is about 2' under water and it's dirt/mud from there. They said it was no problem though. The deepest they said they graphed was 20'. Hope this helps.

Fished Chesterfield on Saturday. Best day of fishing for a long time. Two of us caught somewhere in the neighborhood of a hundred fish. Four of them were in the 20"+ range, and the rest were 12-18". We were fishing Beadhead Peacock leaches, size 10, on a full sink line. Lots of people out and doing well off the bank on the East side, as well as the boaters and tubers. The water is down, but there's plenty of room to fish. Should be good in there next year, if we get a good snow year.

Thanks for the info. I can not wait to ice fish it this year.
