I am new to this forum and was looking for any information about Birch Creek Res. I am taking the kids fishing and wanted to know how it was fishing and what people are having the best luck using. I used to fish this place a lot about 10 years ago but have not been up there since.

If you are talking about Birch Creek in Utah, then I can help.
There is a population of NICE tiger trout in there these days. Minnows fished on the bottom is a good bet. I like red side shiners personally. If you are going to be in a small boat or a canoe, vertically jing with black marabous tipped with a crawler or piece of minnow.
The kids should do well with powerabit for the bows from shore. [cool]

Hi fishndad and welcome to the BigFishTackle message boards. Thank you for your inquiry and please help us by clarifying which Birch Creek you are referring to. There are several in the US including CA, ID, UT, MO, MI, TX, PA and others.
We are willing to help and just need a little more information on the geographic location of the Birch Creek that you are referring to.[cool]

[black][size 3]Birch Creek is a great area ! Yeah, Monte Cristo ! Sounds like you might have had a fine time up there. Be sure to post some photos when you get the chance. I'll look forward to seeing them.[/size][/black]

Nice pictures!
Treasure these times with the kiddos. I have four children (girls 13 & 28 and boys 17 & 19) and the only one who wants to fish went and married a patriot soldier and moved an hour and a half away. My youngest boy still fishes once in a while with me.
It looks like you guys had a big time!!!
Good on ya,
Lewis
