fishing in rexburg

hello everyone in idaho. heading up to rexburg on saturday and sunday going to do some fishing. need some fishing info. about the snake river. going to fish with rapala's and spinners i was thinking around the tracks by lorenzo. Is that part ok for trout? any info would be good thanks pineviewfisher form utah.

I haven't fished the South Fork recently but I'm sure the fishing should be good. The flows coming out of Palies have been reduced considerably so the river is going to be running lower. Currently it is around 1800 cfs at Heise.

The further you can get up or downstream from the tracks and the highway, the better off you will be. Those holes near the road get hit really hard everyday.
