Attention scouts and civic groups! The NJ DEP Division of Fish and Wildlife's Pequest Trout Hatchery and Natural Resource Education Center is open this winter for a two-hour video and tour program about the hatchery.
The program consists of a lecture on trout, their habits and habitats, and hatchery operations. The lecture is followed by a 15-minute video on hatchery operations and then staff will lead you on a tour of the hatchery.
The hatchery is open seven days a week from 10:00 - 4:00, except for major holidays.
