went Saturday, 8 inches solid ice, caught almost 30 fish between two guys in 6 hours. 90% kokanee. everything was small. pretty good fishing for Mackay.

Thanks for the report! I love Mackay and I might head over there this weekend. I am assuming you were near the boat ramp and not the dam if you got into the kokes.

Thanks for the report. Never fished Mackey. Maybe this will be the year. When you say small, how small are the Kokes?

We were in between the dam and the ramp but closer to the ramp. They were very small the biggest might have gone 10" but most were 6-8". The few trout we caught were also 10-12". Used trout magnets exclusively with a meal worm. Very light bites, most times you just saw your line move sideways a bit in the hole. Good practice for the perch!
