Huntington Report 12-12-07

my buddy called me this morning around 8:30 and said he could not go to work today he had to fish.. [sly] i said you've come to the right guy let's run up to huntington and give it a try..

got there around 10:00 or so i did not look at my watch so close to that time.. we headed to my spot down the lake.. avantages to have a snowmobile.. [cool]. when we got there my buddy wanted to fish by the dam but where i had the auger and the poles he desided to come around to my thinking.. good thing to we got into a school just like the other day when i got the video.. i got a bunch more video today..

something diffrent today tho. my buddy cought a nice brown today up there.. that was cool. it ended up being the big fish of the day so then he was happy that we went to my spot insted of the dam.

i got some pic's of the brown and i'll be putting some video up soon..

I caught a couple out of Huntington like that a few years ago. I wondered if they were pure browns or some tigers that favored the brown side of the gene pool's markings. Could just be a stocking mistake also.

Thanks for the report Ron. How was the slush up there?

well the slush is the same only diffrent [sly].. ok it's got about 6" of snow with a 1 1/2" think crust under it. then about 4" to 6" of water then about 5" of blue ice... so if it getts warm up there it will get slushy on there.. but i dont see that happening any time soon. so it should just get hard and keep the slush down some.. well at lest tell the next big storm that is..

Nice job Fuzzy!!! Great job on the brown. I've never seen one come out of there but it doesn't surprise me.

I hope to get down there either this weekend or the next.

Nice work on the Brown. I caught a cutt out of there a couple of summers ago, but that is the only other kind of fish I've seen.
