Help rockport ? ice

was thinkin of runnin to rockport any idea's on what the thickness is ?

As of friday Rockport was still open water, I will be up there again on Tuesday and update everyone.

[cool]The Rock usually doesn't have safe ice until New Years or a few days before if you are lucky. Heard the perch population is starting to come back there, so I'm looking forward to trying it again in January. Pineview is better though...

well went to the rock any ways sunday afternoon and saw a sight of the rolling waves against my favorite spot for perch. so ran down to echo and found a much better sight. echo is frozen and has 4 inches of ice. dont have a pictures but we got there about 2pm sunday. caught are first two trout with in min's. those fish hit so dang hard you would miss em em cause they would hit it then run. we endee up getting out of there at 5:30pm when that shade hits you it get down right cold. so we ended the day with 5 fish i got the biggest the old man got the other 3 . not many on the ice yet. but hope to hit it next weekend.
