Ice fishing comunity ponds

I went out today and was ice fishing there was alot of action me my wife and two kids iced 23 rainbows ill post some pics later

Was that a pond in the SLC area?
We fished the pond in Syracuse [Jensen] last winter.
This year, the city will not allow ice fishing there.
Safety and liability issues for the city.
Too bad!

There was no sighns about no ice fishing there was a sighn saying thin ice that was it i wonder how i could find out because that was fun for the kids

I can understand the liability issue. Are any other community ponds doing likewise?

Meadow Creek Pond in Roy, doesn't allow ice fishing.
It has not iced over enough to even try ice fishing in the 3 years that it has been open.
