Fished Scofield on Saturday Dec. 15, we fished the north end just about to the point across from the cabins at Madsen Bay hit the ice about 9:30 and fished till dark only had half a dozen bites between the two of us all day never did move probably should have may have caught something. We were using meal worms, nightcrawlers, and power bait but couldn't get a hard enough hit to set the hook. O well maybe next time will be better goin get some minnows for the next trip.

Thanks for the heads up. Our maintenance guy and I were thinking of heading up there this weekend but wasn't sure if there was hard water or not. The berry didn't have any that I could see when I was up there Sunday, then again, I only went to the visitors center and looked out.

Me and my dad are thinking about hitting Scofield again on Sunday and maybe Strawberry on Monday being we get monday off as a paid holiday. Going to try going out towords the island at Scofield and see if we can't catch something there. If we go to Strawberry on monday we are probalby going to fish the Mud Creek area heard it has 4+ inches of ice.

Me and my dad tried north of the island today and only got 1 6" bow. Went over to the east shore and got 6 others kinda slow today and the water level seems way low to me this year.
