Hey Guys...
I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what the ice conditions are like at all of the various harbors on Utah Lake right now. Lincoln, Provo, Lindon, American Fork, Saratoga (Pelican Point)...thanks for any info...

I fished both Lindon and Provo boat harbors today. Had to stick to the docks and break through about 1.5" of ice at Lindon. And maybe 2" at Provo.

I can't tell if that is the dock that I was fishing from or not. It must be, because the other dock that looks like that one didn't have any holes drilled around it. Did anyone see me catch a 16" largie through the ice on that dock today? har har!

haha, I wasn't taking cell phone pics of it, but I did have a disposable camera that I was taking shots with. You know what else is awesome? And I thought that I was SOO careful making sure that no one was around when I decided to take a leak off the side of the dock! HAR HAR!! Someone apparently had a good view. Actually, I wasn't with another guy today. However, there was another guy fishing at the same time I was, and HE (I'm assuming that was kastmaster) caught a ton of bluegills today. I was trying to target the bigger fish...and it paid off apparently...glad to know someone saw me catch the bass...among other things...heh...

The ice at American Fork harbor is rotten after the rain fell 2 nights ago. Before that it was a good solid 3" and there were a lot of people on it. I've been fishing it almost every night from the docks and doing pretty good.

Well, I went to try Provo again today and it was pretty nasty out there. I only stayed for a little over an hour before I decided that it was just too miserable out there to be enjoyable at all. There were several large pockets of open water in various places around the harbor/docks. The wind was terrible out there today. I drove out on the levee extending out into the lake, and the main lake looked really nasty...nastiest I've seen it in a long time. Most of the ice was being broken up by the wind and pushed ashore. That's fine by me...the wind can go ahead and blow all the ice off the lake, so then I can get my boat back in the water...enough of this ice stuff...har
