Grantsville res. / Settlement res. ICE

I just got back from Grantsville res. It is ice capped but looks very rotten in several places. I drilled thru 1" of ice about 10 yds from shore only to find 2" of water then 1 more inch of ice. The resivor seems to be filling up. Mabie another week.

I fished Settlement Canyon Res. for about 2 hrs. yesterday afternoon. There was 6" of good ice wherever I drilled. I only caught one planter rainbow, the minnows would not leave my bait alone! Does anyone know if there are whitefish in this res? or are they chub minnows? Anyhow they are in there thick!

I plan on fishing the narrows at Pineview tomorow, Hope to see some of you out there!

I haven't been there since August and it was nearly dry! I may go for a drive next week.

Fished it in October and it looked only about 35% full. Would love a vernon ice update it is only 1 hr from my house and I would like to hit that ice..
