Ice at UL?

Does anyone know if there is Ice by the Utah Lake pumphouse?

I'm sure there is ice. Whether or not it is safe yet is a different story. Still fishing lindon and provo harbors from the docks. Getting a few whities and bluegill, if you know what time of day to go and what to use...

I bet there is safe ice there now. I fished lindon boat harbor this afternoon. Had a solid 2 maybe 2.5 inches of ice.

Ice at Pumphouse was 4" last week. Whities not jumping thru the ice there like they were a year ago at first ice. Yet better at AmFk boat harbor than a year ago.

You are right on the money about those white bass not jumping out of the holes. lol. I hit the ice the first day it was "safe" at 1 3/4 inches. Two weeks ago or before. Only a dozen white bass took the tentative leap out of the hole rather than the hundred i was expecting. Tried it several times but just not worth it. Muuuch better elsewhere.

Thanks for the reply's. I fished UL new years eve and did ok.Caught a bunch of sunfish/bluegill and a few small crappie.Would have done better if I had waxies instead of night crawlers. My buddy did catch a nice white bass right before we left.
