Pineview
#1
[unsure]Hit Pineview this morning before daylight, -12 degrees and stayed till 2PM. Got up to 4 degrees. Fish painted on the finder all morning but would not hit a thing. Threw everything at them but the tackle box. Fished the north side of the narrows. Anybody else do any good? Felt good to be out, first ice trip of the year.

I was there today too. I got there at around 745 and fishing by about 830 in the narrows. Started out pretty much right in the middle in about 40-42 feet of water and fished there for about 2 hours with not even a nibble. Then moved over to the south side in about 24 feet of water and picked up a nice crappie within the first 10 minutes of moving. Picked up probably 8-12 dink perch in the same area over the next 4 hours or so. Moved back out deeper to about 35 feet of water and fished there until 5 tonight. Picked up one real nice perch and 4 in the 6 1/2-8 inch range and about 4-6 more dinks plus 1 dinky blue gill. Guess I should have stayed deep all day. Heading to Echo tomorrow.
