Myself and 3 other guys from Hill were out there today. We fished from about 1030-5 today. We caught 3 rainbows and over 75 perch today. About 2/3 of the perch were over 8 inches today so not to bad. I lived up to my namesake today icing 20+ perch. I tried all different kinds of jigs today tipped with meal worms, crawlers, spikes, eyes and perch meat. I caught most of mine on eyes and a swedish pimple. All 3 trout were caught by one of the other guys and he used crawlers and a 1/32 ounce feather jig most of the day. I would say 75% of the fish for all of us came on swedish pimples though. Looking forward to a nice fish fry and getting the kids up there soon.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I tried solid gold and silver but had the most luck with a silver with the glow strip. Two of the other guys used silver with either orange or green strip, honestly I think any jig would work out there tipped with either worm, eye, waxies or perch meat but I personally had the best luck with eyes. Good luck if you go. If you are getting mostly smaller ones move around. I stayed in the same spot most of the day and had a mixture of about 50/50 small and nicer ones then made a move and got about 12 nice ones to about 5 little ones.

Thanks for the info, I need to buy some for my next trip and I wasn't sure if the color mattered. WH2
