I've been putting in for the bonus point for moose for years because I knew I couldn't afford it if I drew, but knew I would never draw if I waited to afford it and start with no points. My question is I've got 9 points now and am in a position to afford the hunt if I drew, but I have no idea which unit to apply for? Does any one have any advice? I don't need to kill a world record bull, but I would like a good unit that has a chance of drawing before I'm 90. One close to the wasatch front would be convinient, but I grew up in the Uintah basin so something out there would be nice as well. I was thinking about the kamas, chalk creek, or 3 corners units. What do you guys think?

you'll have a better chance drawing the Chalk Creek unit, but as fshslayer36 said most of it is private. There is a small area aound Whitney Resivoir that you could hunt and I have see a few really nice bulls in there. The problem with that is, you could hunt the whole area in about 2 days and see every bull. If there isn't a bull you want your pretty much screwed unless one wanders out of Chalk Creek.

Cache Moose; a lot of public land and a lot of moose. If you put and draw this unit let me know and I will help you out.
My dad took one in this unit several years ago. It was 47" wide

I went to school up in Logan and I always saw plenty of moose in that area, that might not be a bad idea. Anybody have any input on the 3 corners unit. Several years ago there was a freaking monster that used to come down into browns park. I know that area very well, but it's a long ways away.
