Anyone fish Quail Creek?

Im taking a trip soon (from vegas) to Quail and was wondering what the action is like up there right now. When do the bass become active?

Fishing for the trout has been good but the bass bite is slow. They can still be caught with some patience and a good sonar. The bass will start moving around the end of March and by the end of April they start getting active.

I CAN'T HARDLY WAIT FOR IT TO BEGIN!!!!! Hopefully the weather is better this year... Oh! And those trout make heap good bass munchies too!

according to the state website, they didnt stock quail with trout at all last year, must've been the water levels . .

well the water is up now, and all the brush that grew along the lake is now in 3-5 feet of water, bassers should have fun this spring . . makes it dicey to fish from shore . .

theres some decent trout left though . . minus a few...
