giant buck and ice report

does anyone have any pics of the buck that was hit buy a car near the point of the mountain there are rumors about a giant that was hit last week sometime sorry for the off topic
grantsville and vernon have about 10 inches of good ice the bite is very light but steady as of sunday

This buck is old news.

It was hit on the highway out of Park City to Heber 2 or 3 years ago.[crazy]

About 3 weeks ago on the south side, northbound traffic there was a buck laying there that had had its antlers sawn off. I agree with the others the one you are thinking of was killed a couple years ago up by Jordanelle

there was a 18 inch brown iced at vernon when i made the trip sunday some old feller had it
i was told the buck was hit near alpine about 10 days ago from a
division officer but who knows i guess thats how rumors get started

Add a week to the date and it might have been the one I saw, it was just north of the alpine / cabelas exit. Antlers were already sawed off by that time though. Big bases so I assume it was a pretty big deer. Bad place to hack of some antlers though as you aint exactly alone with the daily Utah 500 taking place right past you.

Why would anyone cut them off at the base and not the skull plate??

Because its illegal and cutting them off at the base is faster.

The buck in the picture is similar to the buck I hunt every night from about 12:00 am to 6:00 am; however, the buck I hunt is about 12" wider and has at least 10 more points on each side.
