I'm ponderin' trying Echo my next days off. I plan to take my snowmobile & sled but my question is this, my truck is only 2WD and is helpless in the slick. Where can I access Echo without getting into a place I can't get out of?

The parking area just outside the resort on the east side is your ONLY option. Be sure to park right next to, and parallel with, the road. The snowmobiles then travel the old railroad grade south until they can safely turn right, out onto the lake. It looks to be about 1/4 mile or so south of the parking area.
I launch at South Beach, but would STRONGLY suggest you do not want to try that with a 2WD.

I went up to Echo today and it was horrible. The road from Coalville up by the lake was bad and the paking at the marina was bad for a FWD.
