That sounds like a good deal especially if you live near Lehi. I pay a little less that $2 for my night crawlers at a local gas station and they just started stocking meal worms for $1.50. It's a little tougher to get wax worms. I wonder how much she would charge to ship me some, have you contacted her? WH2

I called her, left a message.. she called me back.. here is her prices.

35 count Meal worms 1.50
35 count Wax worms 1.75
She said usually she will throw in 3-4 extra on the wax and meal worms..
Night crawlers 1.50 per dozen.. and I forgot how much she said it was for 2 doz night crawlers.. I forgot to ask her if her nightcrawlers are european or Canadian..

she said call before you go to give her a heads up..

You can save a ton of money ordering them online. You can get 1000 large mealworms for $10.95 (rainbow giants). Check out http://www.rainbowmealworms.net/home.asp

They have mealworms and wax worms. I order from them every year just before ice on. When I order 1000 they usually send about 1200 to account for some dying in transport (there are usually 5 to 10 dead ones!). They have very good and fast service. I highly recommend. I order 1000 and split them 3 ways with my dad and a friend. We end up getting about 400 each for less than 4 bucks! Now thats a deal. Oh and they stay good for many many months in the fridge. They will easily last a year if you feed them periodically and really take care of them. You can even grow your own! I raised and bred Chameleons and Bearded Dragons for years. Along with that I ordered (and raised) thousands and thousands and thousands (literally!) of fruit flys, crickets, mealworms, and silk worms. So if you have any questions on how to keep and/or feed any of those-along with the reptiles, I can probably help, just let me know! [Smile] P.S. It is TONS cheaper to buy online and just take what you need fishing!

I ordered 4 boxes of waxies at the beginning of the season 250 in each container. I haven't used up one container yet. I just checked them and there are some dead ones but if anyone would be interested in 2 containers for $5.00 send me a PM.

The waxies are gone, $5.00 for 350 to 400 live waxies was a pretty good deal.[cool]
