East canyon 2/18

Took advantage of the holiday and went to East Canyon today. Fishing was slow but we did manage to get a few ( about 15 between 4 fishermen). All the fish were small, and so far this year I have not caught one fiosh that compared to last years fat toads. Don't know where they all went but I can't seem to find them now. We fished the far side straight out from the boat ramp, and I guess that was the reason we were the only ones there. Access was good, the slush was fairly frozen and you could have rode a 4 wheeler out there.

Thanks for the report Travis, good to hear you got into a few even if they were on the small side. Were there many people out there on the ice on Monday?

No not a lot of people, just a group here and there. More people riding snowmobiles and sledding than fishing.
