Gorge report...
#1
Well a bunch of us from Idaho/& Wyo hooked up and went over to the Gorge.. Fri the weather was pretty nice and we didnt catch to many out at Anvil. (watched on guy catch a nice prob 20 lber tho).. Anyway, we packed up and headed north for the burb that evening, where we cought a few but didnt kill them dead by any means. Then on sat we hit Anvil (along with aprox 60 other people that were scattered allll over the place) by noon we had cought a total of 35 fish (between fri and sat) nothing big. We did catch some burbot in 85 ft of water WITH trout skelton (aprox 8 inchs) sticking out of its mouth (without the head) (2 burbs were like that) anyone else seen this before? Then that evening 3 of the group headed north and cought aprox 40 fish or so... smaller mac pups and burbs.. Ice conditions were good with lots of ice up north and if you can find a spot in Anvil that there isnt a person the ice was prob 12 inches. Over all a reallllllllly good trip to get out of town and spend some time with the guys fishing.
