Has anybody done any Bass fishing there? I have read that it has been rated one of the top for bass. if you have fished it for bass any pointers or where you launched from to get to the hot spots?
Thanks Guys

go to waynesworld.com it is an awesome report site. that entire lake is a hot spot, you just need to find out what depths, and cover there in right now. i fish it during summer i wouldn't have a clue this time of year. you should catch a shizzzz load of fishies though.

Bassrods can answer your questions, send him a PM if he does not answer your post. I would bet he is planning a trip down there real soon. If you make it down there, let us know how you do and good luck. WH2

Stratos: Do go to the wayneswords web.
Powell is outstanding for bass. The smallmouth hang around the unlimited numbers of rock slides and structure, and the largemouth are in the brush and tumbleweed choked bays and inlets.
The lake is enormous with a very few places to launch. For a bass fisherman you can pick an area, and spend a week to simply try to cover the obvious structure within a couple of miles, and you'll feel like you haven't even touched it.
If you get a chance try out Powell. You'll be hooked.
