Sounds like fun, wish I could make it. Why dont they have it on a weekend instead of the middle of the week? Bassrods, have you heard anything from the bass tourney they had a Powell this weekend? I heard there was one, but didnt see it on any schedule that I have, just thought you may have heard of some reports!!!

I'll try to make it by and have a look. If I can find some kiddie rods/reels for a decent price, I'll bid on em.[fishon]

I think that was an American Bass tournament. I didn't check the results, but I heard Bishop won [big suprise] on Saturday and Sunday was cancelled due to poor weather. I've donated so much money to that old coot, he should be driving a gold plated Ranger by now!!

Curious, who does the fund raiser support? I'm just not aware of Central Utah Bass work.

Is the auction seperate from the fundraiser?. Are you a member of CUB? Not a personal jab but a heads up on this could have produced quite a turnout, especially if it's a fundraiser. Middle of the week in short notice???...I'll try to make it just to see what's up.

One thing that I know of is money to be used for structurer for some lakes that we have permission to do and we are trying to get others on the list to be done as well...
And yes I am a member, and the auction is the fund raiser...

If you looked around the shore this last year when we had all the low water you could see how bare the shore is getting...

[cool][#0000ff]Jordanelle still has more structure than all other Utah lakes combined. Why not focus on waters that really need more cover? Deer Creek can use some...after it stabilizes again. Pineview has structure for awhile in early spring, but nothing after the water drops. Yuba also needs more but since it is not a bass lake (yet) I don't suppose it is under consideration. And the "dust bowl" (Willard) could really use some help.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Good luck with the auction.[/#0000ff]

If you want to get the type of structure that they will let you put in the lakes and have one you want it in do it...
We pick lakes we want and work to get it done, if we are doing the work we will pick the lake...
We can only do so much with what we have and who we have to work with (State Parks) but when all is set and we know what lakes we can help we will need all the help we can get...

[cool] I wanted to make sure I made it to the right place so I showed up last night... [crazy] Ok... Truth be told I lost track of what day of the week today was (not the date for the auction) and showed up last night. When I asked the folks there about a charity event, they brought me into a room full of LDS books for sale.[:/] Ummm... NOT the event I had in mind...
At least I know where I'm going now.[ ![Wink Wink](https://bigfishtackle.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.png) ]
