My son lives in Longmont and i am going to come over the first week of April to visit him. Thinking about hooking up the boat and bringing it too. Anyone have any advice on anyplace to fish using a boat?
Thanks!

What do you want to fish for?? Trolling? Casting? Bait? Lures? With a little more info we can help. The first week of April is usually just a little early for most species other than trout.

Tolling and jigging off the boat are my preferences.
Trout are what I normally fish for over here in Utah.
Do some Catfish and Bass when it gets a little warmer.
Could delay one week if that makes a difference.
Son moved over there two days after I got my new boat so he has not had a chance to go out on its comforts as compared to the 14' hard-seated aluminum one we used to fish on.
Saw your MAC pics from Flaming Gorge. Looked like a great time.
Thanks for the help!

Everything is a little behind here. We still have some ice on most of the bigger Front Range lakes, but it should be gone by the weekend with any luck. The walleye may not be going well by then, but you should be able to catch trout at Boyd Lake and Horsetooth and probably some otherrs. Check back a little closer to your trip and we can probably give you a better idea what's going on.

Will check back.
Going to Lake Mead the 20th through the 25th and try out some stripper fishing. Bought some new "innerflow" casting poles today for the wife and I. Fishing for strippers there will be a first for me.
Thanks for the info.
