Went out for a nice Sunday drive with the inlaws to check out the local waters. Devils Creek a little open on the edges but still fishable. Deep Creek the same mabey a little more open but with a good plank I think you would be fine. Weston on the north end has a lot of water but down by the dam it is solid right up to the bank with a few people fishing there. Johnson,Lamont and Glendale about the same conditon as the others. Foster has some open water on the south west end . Oneida was solid right up to the bank I walked from the boat ramp out 50 yards or so no slush. The river down below looked nice and clear there were a few people fishing!! Cant wait for Ice off!!!!! M.H.

I drove up to Ririe today hoping the ice was off so I could test the boat out tomorow but there was still people out there ice fishing. It looked like there was some open water on the west side of the lake so it shouldn't be long before the rest of the lake follows. I am not sure about down south but there is a good chance there is still enough ice to walk on if you dare.

Some are almost gone and some still have a lot of ice- Supposedly as big snow coming this afternoon- hopefully a lot of wind that will take care of some of the ice.
