Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks and the Richland County Hunter Education Program will hold a free Women's Spring Turkey Hunting Workshop Saturday, April 19 beginning at 4:30 a.m. and ending by 11:30 a.m.

The early start will enable the group to reach the field in time to locate, listen to, and observe turkeys at different roost sites within their habitat. Mid-morning the group will gather to hear presentations on turkey hunting, use of camo, turkey calls, turkey identification, turkey tracks, roost sites and related topics.

Interested participants should pre-register before April 16 at the Donald G. Nutter Building in the Justice Court Office in Sidney between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ten participants are needed, so make sure interested friends register with you.

Participants should plan on wearing warm cloths in camouflage or drab natural colors. Bring your own coffee, water, camera and binoculars. No guns will be allowed.
