I fished clear creek,at clear creek canyon park on highway 6. I fished for about two hours around dusk. I caught two small rainbow's and a healthy brown trout, using a white stinger tube jig.I also caught 7 nice trout out of the blue river on the 24th using that same tube jig! So for all you spinner fisherman, tube jigs have been working great almost everywhere I've gone so far this year!

Welcome to the board FinFan25 and thanks for your helpful report. What size tube do you use for trout in those streams, if you don't mind me asking?

You know what don, I'm not sure what size they are. there is no size on the package. the brand name is trout traps. I use the trout trap stingers which are the bigger size of tube jig they offer. I've had the best success with the pearl/red color. Im excited to see how I will do with the tubes in the late spring.

I'll have to look for those. I couldn't find any online when I did a quick google just now.
Thanks again!

I love fishing the Blue too. Were you in the Silverthorn area?

Nice report, we may have to get together and head up there sometime. I have never fished up there and I am always looking for new places to fish.
