2008 Salmon Closure?

Hello, All!

I am a Utah resident and angler, but would like to know some info about this year's salmon closure for commercial fishing. Will this affect the Charter Services or any other bodies of water in California? Or is it just for the Ocean and Bays for commercial fishermen, and not recreactional or sport fisherman. Thanks for your input.

It is unfortunate but the closure will apply to all anglers. Commercial and Sportsfishermen will have to wait till the counts come back up.

Back when I left Cali and moved to UT, we didn't have internet. We had to get information from misc. reports that would travel and stretch as they go.
