Swimbait question
#1
I am a self-admitted internet junkie. Everything you want to know is at the tips of your fingers, I learn something new everyday which also leads to more questions...a vicious cycle [sly].
I was looking for swimbaits, nothing particular, just seeing what was the latest on the market and maybe something would catch my eye and possibly another hawg bass when I came across Berkleys new line of new hollow body swimbaits. If you've got a minute read the description
http://www.berkley-fishing.com/prod.php?k=84547&sk=74917&p=PURHBCSB5-AY%20(1139072)

It comes in the package with three baits, a wide gap hook, a treble hook, a bullet weight, a swivel, plastic tubing, and a split ring.
I'm trying to figure out how the plastic tubing comes into play. I've always used single packaged swimbaits that you just tie your line to but I always like to try new things.

The tubing could be used for a trailer hook set up. You cut a small piece of tubing off, slide the piece of tubing over the trailer hooks eye, then poke through the tubing and eye on your trailer hook with your original hook. The tubing keeps the trailer hook in place, and keeps from falling off the other hook. Maybe you rig the SB weedless put the tubing over the treble and slide on the the EWG. Now you would have the EWG coming out the top and the treble hanging from the bottom. Maybe I'm way off, just an idea.
