Help!!! Turtles are driving me crazy

How do you get a hook out of a turtles mouth? Almost everytime we go fishing in our pond, we catch a turtle. I always have to end up cutting the line and hoping the hook works it's way out of his mouth.

you're doing it the correct way . . don't get your fingers near that turtle's mouth!

amen to that ! we don't want to change his user name to stubbs ! , southerman is right , cut the line , the turtle will either work it out or it will rust out . you don't have to worry about them getting infected either , they have one strong immune system !
