For example, when you wanted to see what someone's interests were, you could click on their login name and see something. Now it's all gone or blank. However, if you go to the old Web site, you can still see them.[/size][/#004080][/font]

Here what I discovered the second I logged on. There wasnt anyway to get to the forum other that through hot topic (I think thats what its called). and even then I have to jump through loops to get to the Utah forums. Personally, I think the all wonderful changes SUCK!

That is how I navigated through the different boards efficiently. the way we have to do it know is a pain in the Arse, and almost impossible to find.[/#808000][/font]

Start by going only to www.bigfishtackle.com
Under the Features tab, click on Fishing Forums.
Then in the Forums page, scroll WAY down to the Utah Fishing Forum's General Discussion.

I didn't have much trouble getting here,but the font is way to small,and the text box is smaller.I hope these are things that will get worked out .

I think it totally sucks! I just made a post on the hunting board and added like six pictures and it doesn't even show them. How do I see the pics???
-The text is wayy too small!
-The threads really suck being so close together, now it looks like every other site out there.
-Not user freindly at all! I have friends that would love to join the site, but can't figure it out. I thought this would be easier, but it's 100 times harder.
Just switch it back!! Why did we have to change anyway? This is crap!

Oh well, that is something I can get used to. But I will wonder if people I send PM's to will realize that I have sent them one.[/size][/#0000ff][/font]

Oiy... I don't like all the ads. Making money is fine, but do they really have to bombard us? It's on top, and both sides! I was sort of hoping there'd be an option to pay for accessing BTF, and not have ads showing. I'd be willing to pay a monthly fee, for my screen not to be flashing all over the place (plus, it makes my computer crash easier, when the poor thing has to load all that stuff).
And...I can't find the chat option. Maybe it was just on the old site. Oh well.

Not surprised, but it honestly doesn't have what a community needs. More focus on its member base.
Not much has changed, just some re-arranging and minor enhancements. The layout is poor, not any better than before.
Grade: F for fire your designer.
I've always thought that BFT had a great member base, but it could be bigger. It will never grow to the numbers it should by putting more focus on the advertising vs. the members that make you your money. I would hit the drawing board again and cater more towards your members and not your money.
Increase membership, decrease ad space, but keep number of impressions.

It took me 3 pages to get to the UT forum. I'm on dial-up.
I tried to save the UT page as a favorite, but when I open, it has me on the general home page.
It's been nice, but you won't be hearing much from me in the future, if at all.
What was that other UT website? Yup, opens right up to where I want.
