good reel and rod

i love to fish and was wondering what a good reel and rod was that is good for fresh and salwater fishing preferrably not over 60$ and baitcasting and also i hav some trilene big game line that is bright green and was wondering if fish see it

You should have two different rigs for each water. But if you must use only one, a 7ft med-heavy rod with your choice of reel.[ shimano is a good one] With 15lb line should keep you out of trouble.

Try the Okuma Halogen 400 series for fresh and salt.

If you need the bait clicker option I would go with the Okuma San Juan instead.

I bet I know which green line you are working with. The bright green line by some of the manufactures is kind of week at times.

Clear or smoke tend to work better for general conditions.
