Wallie divers and bottom bouncers, no deeper than 20 ft. Throw cranbaits in the shore early. Not being a smart A but Powell is easy to catch Walleyes, good luck.

When I head down to powell I always seem to get there late in the afternoon/early evening. I usually wait till morning to get the boat in the water but I always wander the docks and toss crank baits, plastics, etc. to see whats lurking. I have caught a number of walleye this time of year from the docks and shore close by throwing just about anything.

If you go North of Bullfrog try Smith Fork Canyon (towards that back) Warm Spring and Cedar Canyon. Look for points that come out into the water that have some merky water around them. The Walleye will usually hang around those points and wait to ambush its prey in the merky water.
