My wife and I are headed to LaPaz the first week in May. I plan to charter a couple of panga trips, but would also like to try some DIY shore fishing, if possible. It's my first trip to that part of Mexico and I've been online, researching fishing in the area. While much info is available, there's nothing like first-hand knowledge. I posted an info request on the Mexico board, but there were no bites. Does anyone out there have any info or suggestions on charters and shore fishing? Please post or send me a PM.
thanks

We'll be going down for my 4th trip 1st of May to the East Cape south of La Paz. I don't know about the La Paz charters, but on the East Cape pangas are about $200-$250 a day with cuirsers running around $400. Boats provide all tackle you need. We are going to try some DIY kayak fishing this year so I'll be taking down some tackle. Reports say that the fishing is heating up. Try these links and check for ones in your area. Don't forget a 40qt cooler to bring your fish back.
