Active Trout

I have been fishing every weekend for the past month and the only species of fish I am able to catch is trout. I try for other species but every time I hook a fish and bring it up it is a trout. Is anyone else catching different species?

I have got a couple walleye and a few smallies. One of each came off a top water hit. All fish were taken in the evening. Trout seem to be the only fish I can't get on the end of my line.

I was crappie fishing and caught the others.
